Partner & Senior Financial Advisor

Dale Kelly, CRPC®, AWMA®

Making a meaningful and positive impact in the lives of his clients is what drives Dale Kelly, Partner and Senior Financial Advisor with Prime Capital Financial. Dale is committed to earning his clients’ trust every day, viewing each meeting as an opportunity to help individuals and families pursue their financial goals and achieve their dreams. He takes pride in simplifying the complexities of retirement planning, providing clarity and confidence during what can often be a stressful life transition. Together with his team, Dale delivers comprehensive financial plans, exceptional service, and steady guidance as clients navigate toward their desired retirement lifestyle.

Dale began his career in finance in 2005 as a licensed financial specialist with Wachovia Bank and Wachovia Securities. He later advanced to BB&T Wealth (now Truist) as a Private Wealth Advisor, before continuing his career with Regions Private Wealth Management. Now at Prime Capital Financial, Dale works with individuals and families—including employees and plan sponsors at organizations such as FedEx, International Paper, and members of the Memphis medical community—to address their financial planning and wealth management needs.

Before entering the financial services industry, Dale proudly served in the United States Navy from 1996 to 2000 as a Fire Controlman aboard the USS Blue Ridge, the flagship of the U.S. 7th Fleet. During his service, he operated and maintained the Phalanx Close-In Weapon System, the ship’s last line of defense.

Dale earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science and History from the University of North Alabama in 2004, followed by his MBA from Capella University in 2009. He further expanded his professional education through BB&T Banking School at Wake Forest University in 2013 and later the College for Financial Planning, where he earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation in 2023 and the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA) designation in 2024.

Outside of work, Dale’s greatest joy comes from supporting his two teenage children and their pursuits. His son, Will, attends Christian Brothers High School in Memphis and will graduate with the Class of 2027. Will plans to attend the University of North Alabama and compete on the university’s bass fishing team. Dale’s daughter, Avery, is actively involved in theatre, choir, and piano at Collierville High School. She performs with the Collierville High Theater Club, New Day Theater in Collierville, the Collierville High Chamber Choir, and the Tennessee All-State High School Choir. Avery hopes to attend UCLA and major in theater.

Dale has also spent many years coaching youth football and baseball and currently serves as a boat captain for a high school bass fishing team. When he finds time for himself, he enjoys reading, hunting, fishing, and following college sports.
